How to understand a Belgian pay slip and update on new labor law measures
Understanding a Belgian payslip can be challenging, even for experienced HR professionals or international managers of asscoiations. During this presenation, we will walk through the structure of a Belgian payslip and explain the key elements that determine how gross salary is translated into net pay, including social security contributions, income taxes, benefits in kind, reimbursement of expenses….
In a second, shorter part of the session, we will provide a concise update on some recent developments in Belgian labour law. Through a few practical examples, we will briefly touch on topics such as the new rules around trial periods, the reduction of social security contributions for first hirings, and the mobility budget….
