The FAIB is very pleased to invite you to the next lunch-debate,  Tuesday 3 october 2023

Subject :  Recent developments in employment law: how will my organization be impacted?

Various provisions relating to work, more commonly known as the “Labour Deal”, entered into force recently in Belgium. This Labour Deal aims, on the one hand, at offering more flexibility to employers and employees, allowing for a better work-life balance and, on the other hand, at increasing employment rate.  The Labour Deal contains new measures that require drafting new documents or adapting internal HR procedures.

Amongst others, the main measures are flexible part-time working schedules, adjustment of working hours at the request of the employee, transition paths, promotion of employability, right to be “offline” and training plans.

This seminar will also address some updates in the field of “Compensation & Benefits”, such as reimbursement of costs, reduction of social security contributions, tax and social security treatment of company cars and mobility budget.

The speaker will answer any questions raised by the participants in an interactive way.
